Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to 2008! Hope you had a great 2007.
2007 had to be the busiest year of my life, major move across the country, new jobs, new bikes, new friends and to top it off.. my son was born July 9th!
It's pretty obvious I didn't film as much last year partly due to not riding as much and being new to all the roads out here. When I did film it was hit or miss, just when you get a groove you get stuck behind a car or come up on a cop hiding in the bushes, get past that only to get stuck behind a car again. The roads out here are fun, but due to them being "regular" roads and not out in the middle of nowhere like Cali roads, you have to fight your way through traffic all the time. I don't forsee much filming this year as I don't have anywhere to mount a camera on my new bike, I sold the TLR 2 months ago and bought a Husqvarna SM510R Supermoto. I don't think I'll do a bunch of rides this year for a few reasons, first being it's a 2 hour drive to even get to a decent road, and second I want to take it to the track more and hopefully get my racing license to do some races this year. Being a Dad has changed my street riding perspective. I still love to ride, just not like an idiot anymore :)

Have a great year and I'll see you when I see ya!

May 16

Well HELLO there!!

Where the heck have I been and why did i take so looooong to update the site...???
Without going into a long drawn out novel of the last 8 months, let me sum it up for you like this:

September - Bought the TL1000R (Tiller), worked on and finished Episode 23. The Fiance' comes out for a visit

October - Got the tiller legal, flew back to San Diego on the 20th. Prepare for a trip to Spain for 3.5 weeks. The New England riding season officially comes to an end, I didn't get a chance to get out and actually ride the tiller :(

November - Currently in Spain for MY WEDDING!! on the 4th. That's right.. I GOT MARRIED! Stay until the 15th, Fly back to Rhode Island on the 18th and start making preparations to move the wife and our apartment to the east coast. Start making plans for a trip to "The Gap" in the spring.

December - Find an awesome 3 bedroom condo with garage and full basement for the "family".. Did I mention that we're pregnant!
Fly BACK to San Diego on the 10th, pick up a rental truck, pack an entire 1 BD apartment into it and proceed to drive 3300 miles with my brother across the country in 54 hours... The "wife" fly's out on the 13th and we move into our new condo on the 15th.
Here comes Christmas.. we tell the family we're having a baby.

January - HAPPY NEW YEAR!! The entire month is spent unpacking boxes, wedding gifts and furnishing the condo. To damn cold to ride!

February - Finally settled into the condo, work sucks and we both think if moving east was the right thing to do... still to damn cold to ride to work most days but I still do, snow can only be found on postcards, it's supposed to snow up here.. wtf! friends in San Diego gloat about a heat wave.

March - Work really sucks so I get a new job with a larger paycheck and more headaches. The weather is starting to warm up but we keep getting these freaky snow-rain-snow storms. Friends in San Diego complain about the heat waves. I'm finally riding the bike to work on a regular basis, all 2.2 miles of it.

April - Finally Spring is here!! The rains stay rain now, the trees are starting to bud and I can hear birds in the morning. On the 17th, myself and 17 other people from the BandofRiders.net forum load up our trucks and trailers and head down to North Carolina to ride.....
"THE GAP"!! Yes you read it right.. I went to The Gap!!
Finally I get to really ride the tiller in some twisties, and very quickly find out how hard it is to throw around a 500 lb bike.. all that waiting over the winter to ride and when I do, it feels like I got run over by a truck. OMG is she a pig! Shot 4 hours of video and assembled the first of a few videos, the first being Episode 24, the longest and largest video to ever grace my site. 20 minutes and 180 megs capture the spectacular road "Cherohala Skyway" to follow are some Gap videos and other surrounding roads, when I get to them, not sure but all of the tapes are captured onto the computer so it's only a matter of editing.

May - Well here we are at the present. As you can see the last 3/4 year was pretty busy around here. We're having a boy, his name is Adrian and he's due mid July. Work sucks, turns out this great company I hired onto pretty much sucks, lack of management is mostly to blame... what did I get myself into???? The weather is awesome and the riding season is officially here! As soon as I get some new tires I'll be out on the weekend rides. The roads here are hit or miss with most of the good ones up in New Hampshire, Vermont and Western Mass. I'm looking forward to learning what New England has to offer in the way of great twisties.

So that's what's going on, The new videos are posted in the Video page, Episode 23 AND 24 are ready for viewing.

Thanks for watching!!

Added a forum to the site now so everyone can discuss the videos.

Ride Behind Videos came about for one purpose, to share my on board sportbike motorcycle videos.
It all began after I saw a few videos that were nothing but stunt vids with long boring wheelie's and high speed flybys.
Didn't see much twisty stuff and what I did see was track stuff and back roads. I wanted to see some twisties, lots of them.

Then I thought about the roads here, nothing but twisties everywhere.
I got a camera and got busy.

Take a tour and feel free to send me some email with comments or suggestions.
